Job Requirements
- Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and dressed in accordance with hotel appearance standards
- Ability to maintain calm, professional composure during busy or stressful situations
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral
- Ability to perform tasks within given time frame with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand or walk continuously for a minimum of 8 hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs over the course of a shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, push and pull during shifts
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to operate Bar and Lounge equipment
- Maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per hotel standards
- Willingness to perform job functions outdoors and exposure to sun, heat, humidity and other elements occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Experience in restaurant or hotel preferred
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits
- Exceptional communication skills
- Knowledge of Bar and Lounge operations and standards
Job Duties
- Proactively welcome, greet, seat, manage waitlist and bid fond farewell to all Bar and Lounge guests in accordance with hotel standards
- Maintain calm and professional composure during busy or stressful situations
- Perform administrative duties including managing waitlist, taking outlet reservations, generating reports and printing menus
- Ensure proper care, security and maintenance of hotel equipment
- Maintain the back of the house cleanliness and safety
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings and quarterly department meetings
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables if needed
