Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Minimum of six months experience in a bar-related leadership role
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, mornings, noon, and evenings on an on-call/event-based schedule
  • Must provide written availability on a regular and consistent basis
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high volume catering or restaurant environment as bartender or mixologist
  • High School Diploma, GED, or related food service job experience
  • Must acquire and maintain ServeSafe Food Handlers Card, ServeSafe or eTIPS Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with employees, co-workers, management, and guests
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Oversee and coordinate all bar functions during events
  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure all food, beverage, seating, and special requests are met
  • Lead and mentor bar staff in mixology techniques, product knowledge, and customer service
  • Create and curate signature cocktails and innovative drink menus inspired by trends and guest preferences
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to assign stations, review orders, and ensure appearance and hygiene standards
  • Ensure proper setup, handling, and storage of all bar equipment, china, glassware, silverware, linens, and props
  • Monitor guest consumption accurately and manage inventory to maintain sufficient beverage stock
