Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a food and beverage setting required
  • bartending experience highly preferred
  • TIPS certification or ability to obtain required
  • physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shift
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • strong guest service skills
  • basic computer proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required
  • bartending experience highly preferred
  • comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation techniques, appropriate glassware, and bar equipment
  • knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service
  • TIPS certification or ability to obtain is required
  • strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences
  • basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking
  • physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shift

Job Duties

  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
  • create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to guest tastes
  • ensure all drinks meet the highest quality presentation standards
  • greet and engage guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
  • take drink orders from guests and servers while answering inquiries about menu options
  • handle guest complaints or special requests professionally
  • set up the bar at the beginning of each shift ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready
  • maintain a clean and organized bar area including cleaning glassware, surfaces, and waste disposal
  • monitor and report inventory levels for beverages and supplies to avoid shortages
  • follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations including verifying guest identification
  • monitor guest alcohol consumption and enforce responsible service practices
  • adhere to all state and local laws regarding alcohol sales and service
  • collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service
  • assist with restocking supplies and supporting barback duties during busy periods
  • foster a positive team environment while delivering exceptional service
  • perform other duties as assigned
