Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a food and beverage setting required
- bartending experience highly preferred
- TIPS certification or ability to obtain required
- physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shift
- ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- strong guest service skills
- basic computer proficiency
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required

- comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation techniques, appropriate glassware, and bar equipment
- knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service
- TIPS certification or ability to obtain is required
- strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences
- basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking
- physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shift

Job Duties
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to guest tastes
- ensure all drinks meet the highest quality presentation standards
- greet and engage guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- take drink orders from guests and servers while answering inquiries about menu options
- handle guest complaints or special requests professionally
- set up the bar at the beginning of each shift ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready
- maintain a clean and organized bar area including cleaning glassware, surfaces, and waste disposal
- monitor and report inventory levels for beverages and supplies to avoid shortages
- follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations including verifying guest identification
- monitor guest alcohol consumption and enforce responsible service practices
- adhere to all state and local laws regarding alcohol sales and service
- collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service
- assist with restocking supplies and supporting barback duties during busy periods
- foster a positive team environment while delivering exceptional service
- perform other duties as assigned
