Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role
- TABC certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required with bartending experience highly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages cocktail recipes preparation techniques appropriate glassware and bar equipment including knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service TABC certification or ability to obtain is required
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences
- Basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking
- Physical ability to stand stoop bend and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails wine beer and specialty drinks according to recipes and guest preferences
- Create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to guest tastes
- Ensure all drinks meet the highest quality presentation standards
- Greet and engage guests with a friendly welcoming attitude and provide personalized service
- Take drink orders from guests and servers answering inquiries about menu options
- Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift ensuring that all equipment garnishes and supplies are ready for service
