Job Requirements
- obtain a TABC certification
- obtain a food handler's permit
- basic computer skills for online scheduling
- ability to wear proper uniform throughout shift
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- willingness to follow instructions and company policies
- flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting preferred
- good physical stamina
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic knowledge of beverage service
- strong communication skills
- ability to work well in a team
- basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Obtain a TABC certification
- obtain a Food Handler's Permit
- have basic computer skills for use of online scheduling system
- wear the proper uniform throughout entire shift
- get ice for all the wells as a priority
- prepare fruit trays and backups
- restock the bar with beer, liquor, wine, glassware, juices, etc.
- check keg beer and change kegs if necessary
- get trash cans and towels
- ensure the bar is clean before opening
- collect empty glasses from the bar
- wash glassware
- wipe the bar top constantly
- restock anything at the bar
- help the bartender as needed
- wash all glassware at closing
- restock beer, liquor, etc. at closing
- clean the bar
- place dirty towels in appropriate location
- dispose of trash and boxes
- clean and organize the beer cooler
- complete additional tasks assigned by the Manager on Duty
