Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Previous experience in a barback or related hospitality role preferred
- Must be physically capable of performing job duties including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to undergo background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety and sanitary guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk, and mobility to move easily around the entire property for an entire shift
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties
- Ability to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to respond to visual and oral signals
- Handle a knife to chop fruit
- Process cash transactions accurately
- Maneuver two-wheel dolly in crowded area
- Maintain neat and clean areas of responsibility at all times
- Ability to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality
Job Duties
- Work with the bar to facilitate the smooth flow of service to customers by the bartender/server
- Perform the service of replenishing bar stock, lounge upkeep, and assisting with any food issues
- Clean tables/bar and ensure condiments are stocked
- Check and maintain the required par levels and maintain cleanliness on assigned station
- Obtain replacement stock from the warehouse inventory in accordance with established procedures - lifting boxes and kegs of beer
- Assist bartender in providing maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests special requests, icing drink glasses and pouring non-alcoholic drinks during busy times
