Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a bar back
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to understand policies and procedures used to clean and sanitize a restaurant
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
- Willingness to attend orientation and complete training programs
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and GHS standards
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bar back
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to comprehend and follow restaurant policies and procedures
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple instructions
- Willingness to complete required training programs including food and alcohol service certifications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Job Duties
- Adhering to uniform standards
- Adhering to policies and procedures that maintain a clean and sanitized bar
- Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
- Ensure HOH standards, safety and sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times
- Ability to work as a team
- Train using tablets or computer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Assisting with opening and closing duties including restocking the bar, cleaning, and mopping
- Ensuring the bar is always well-stocked
- Changing kegs, checking taps, and appliances to confirm they are working and in good repair
