Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- must be of legal age to serve alcohol as per state laws
- physical ability to lift and move heavy kegs and supplies
- demonstrated excellent attendance
- valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- prior experience in bar or hospitality environment preferred
Job Qualifications
- ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner
- possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations
- ability to calculate basic math functions related to product inventory
- ability to speak, read and write in English
- experience working in a fast-paced, high volume bar environment preferred
Job Duties
- stocking products for the bar including non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, icing wells, sweeping and mopping the bar, moving kegs in and out of keg coolers, tapping kegs
- drafting beer and pouring wine for guest orders
- running supplies for bartenders including fruit, napkins, cups, utensils and stirrers
- ensuring location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event
- maintaining cleanliness of bar, kitchen, warehouse and surrounding areas using sanitation procedures
- recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and alerting bartenders
- maintaining sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- meeting company standards for excellent attendance
