Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal law
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable attendance record
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, management, and guests
- Possession of valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by regulations
- Ability to calculate basic math functions related to product inventory
- Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English
- Experience in fast-paced, high volume bar capacity preferred
Job Duties
- Stocking products for the bar including non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, icing wells, sweeping and mopping the bar, moving kegs in and out of keg coolers and tapping kegs
- Running supplies for bartenders including backup fruit, napkins, cups, utensils and stirrers
- Assuring that location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event
- Maintaining cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas utilizing sanitation procedures including mopping floors, cleaning and stacking floor mats, emptying and relining trash cans and keeping closet areas clear of debris and clutter
- Recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and making bartenders aware
- Maintaining sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- Demonstrating excellent attendance
