Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid food handling certificate if required
Alcohol service permit if required by local regulations
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Physical capability to perform tasks such as moving kegs and standing for extended periods
Excellent attendance record
Strong communication skills
Basic math skills

Job Qualifications

Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner
Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations
Ability to calculate basic math functions related to product inventory
Ability to speak, read and write in English
Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume bar capacity preferred

Job Duties

Stocking products for the bar including non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages
Maintaining ice wells
Sweeping and mopping the bar area
Moving kegs in and out of keg coolers and tapping kegs
Drafting beer and pouring wine for guest orders
Running supplies for bartenders including fruit, napkins, cups, utensils and stirrers
Ensuring bar equipment is operable and clean prior to events
Maintaining cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas utilizing sanitation procedures
Recognizing and reporting guests who are visibly intoxicated to bartenders
Maintaining sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
Demonstrating excellent attendance
