Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • eligible to work in the United States
  • physical ability to lift heavy kegs and stand for extended periods
  • valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required
  • strong attendance record
  • willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • ability to communicate clearly, respectfully and professionally with employees, management and guests
  • possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations
  • ability to calculate basic math functions related to product inventory
  • ability to speak, read and write in English
  • experience in a high volume bar capacity preferred

Job Duties

  • Stock products for the bar including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages
  • stock icing wells
  • sweep and mop the bar area
  • move kegs in and out of keg coolers and tap kegs
  • draft beer and pour wine for guest orders
  • run supplies for bartenders including fruit, napkins, cups, utensils and stirrers
  • ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to events
  • maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas using sanitation procedures
  • mop floors, clean and stack floor mats, empty and reline trash cans, keep closet areas clear of debris
  • recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and alert bartenders
  • maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
  • demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
