Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- eligible to work in the United States
- physical ability to lift heavy kegs and stand for extended periods
- valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required
- strong attendance record
- willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- ability to communicate clearly, respectfully and professionally with employees, management and guests
- possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations
- ability to calculate basic math functions related to product inventory
- ability to speak, read and write in English
- experience in a high volume bar capacity preferred
Job Duties
- Stock products for the bar including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages
- stock icing wells
- sweep and mop the bar area
- move kegs in and out of keg coolers and tap kegs
- draft beer and pour wine for guest orders
- run supplies for bartenders including fruit, napkins, cups, utensils and stirrers
- ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to events
- maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas using sanitation procedures
- mop floors, clean and stack floor mats, empty and reline trash cans, keep closet areas clear of debris
- recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and alert bartenders
- maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
