Job Requirements

  • Be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • maintain excellent attendance
  • have availability to work scheduled events including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • willing to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • must be able to perform physical tasks such as moving kegs and mopping
  • reliable and punctual
  • possess or be willing to obtain food handling certification and alcohol service permit if required by law

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, management, and guests
  • possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal laws
  • ability to calculate basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages for product inventory
  • ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • past bar or restaurant experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Stock products for the bar including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages
  • restock icing wells
  • sweep and mop the bar
  • move kegs in and out of keg coolers
  • tap kegs
  • draft beer and pour wine for guest orders
  • run supplies for bartenders including fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers
  • ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to event
  • maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas using sanitation procedures
  • mop floors
  • empty and reline trash cans
  • keep closet areas clear of debris and clutter
  • recognize visibly intoxicated guests and notify bartenders
  • maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • demonstrate excellent attendance and availability to work weekends
