Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- valid food handling certificate if required by state or federal regulations
- alcohol service permit if required
- excellent attendance record
- availability to work scheduled events
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving kegs
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- ability to communicate clearly with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a business-like, respectful manner
- possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations
- ability to calculate basic math functions related to product inventory
- ability to speak, read and write in English
- experience working in a fast-paced, high volume bar capacity preferred
Job Duties
- Stocking products for the bar including non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages
- icing wells
- sweeping and mopping the bar
- moving kegs in and out of keg coolers
- tapping kegs
- drafting beer and pouring wine for guest orders
- running supplies for bartenders including fruit, napkins, cups, utensils and stirrers
- assuring location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event
- maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas utilizing sanitation procedures including mopping floors, cleaning and stacking floor mats, emptying and relining trash cans, keeping closet areas clear of debris and clutter
- recognizing guests visibly intoxicated and informing bartenders
- maintaining sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- demonstrating excellent attendance and availability to work scheduled events
