Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bar or restaurant service preferred
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical capability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- legal age to serve alcohol as per state laws
- willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
Job Qualifications
- ability to stand and walk, and mobility to move easily around the entire property for an entire shift
- must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs, and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
- read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- excellent customer service/communication skills
- ability to respond to visual and oral signals
- handle a knife to chop fruit
- process cash transactions accurately
- maneuver two-wheel dolly in crowded area
- areas of responsibility should be neat and clean at all times
- must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality
Job Duties
- work with the bar to facilitate the smooth flow of service to customers by the bartender/server
- perform the service of replenishing bar stock, lounge upkeep, and assisting with any food issues
- clean tables/bar and ensure condiments are stocked
- check and maintain required par levels and maintain cleanliness on assigned station
- obtain replacement stock from the warehouse inventory in accordance with established procedures including lifting boxes and kegs of beer
- assist bartender in providing maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests special requests, icing drink glasses, and pouring non-alcoholic drinks during busy times
- address concerns and questions
