Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- At least 1 year experience in mid to high volume outlet
- Must be over 21
- Ability to work long hours on feet
- Good physical condition including ability to bend and lift
- Must listen to direction
- Knowledge of beverages helpful
- Ability to operate in fast paced environment.

Job Duties
- Maintain pars of supplies at the bar by stocking ice, paper products, to go cups, glassware, china for menu items, roll ups, etc
- Keep bartender informed of items to be ordered regularly, anticipating business to avoid shortages
- Acknowledge guests when bartender is occupied and relay guest orders
- Respond promptly to requests from bartenders for priorities and assistance
- Bring bar food from kitchen to bar for bartender to serve or direct placement
- Assist in setting bar wells as needed
- Cut bar fruit daily as required
- Inspect all glassware for chips, spots, prints, soap residue, lipstick, etc
- Assist in clearing the bar by returning used plates and silverware to dish room
- Rinse blenders and other equipment after use
- Rotate stock as necessary
- Pour wines independently with bartender approval
- Maintain organized and clean storage of all bar items
- Understand and comply with company, city and state liquor laws
- Report to head bartender at start of shift, before breaks and departure
- Check schedule changes and posted memos
- Complete all assigned sidework before, during and after shift
- Assist team members in restaurant and raw/sushi bars as needed
- Work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Accomplish daily stocking of beverage items
- Maintain front of house cleanliness standards
- Interact with associates and guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Report unsafe conditions or security violations
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on bar equipment
- Inspect equipment cleanliness daily
- Manage time and bar section productivity according to business volume
- Report necessary repairs to bar manager
- Transport glasses, ice, heavy bottles, kegs and other inventory
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced bar environment
- Continuously comply with liquor laws
- Successfully complete other assigned duties.
