Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must comply with all alcohol service regulations and company policies
- Ability to follow instructions and multitask effectively
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in bar or food service environment is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of beverage service and bar operations
Job Duties
- Receives all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom daily
- Replenishes liquor, beer and wine at bar throughout shift
- Retrieves food items from kitchen and delivers to bar area
- Retrieves beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and delivers to bar area
- Sets up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf
- Ensures beer taps are working properly
- Places bar snacks on counter and keeps supplies stocked
- Assists in opening and closing side work
- Buses tables in bar area
- Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of bar and lounge areas
- Washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment
- Sweeps and mops service areas including floor mats
- Removes rubbish from all receptacles
- Prepares and serves beverages to assist bartender
- Performs other duties as assigned
