Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold or obtain Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server Permit
- Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol in Utah
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Prior bar back, bar, or restaurant support experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server Permit required or ability to obtain upon hire
- Must be of legal age to serve liquor in State of Utah
Job Duties
- Stock and restock bar inventory including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies
- Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups, and other bar prep items according to standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations, storage areas, coolers, and service wells
- Change kegs, replace CO tanks, and monitor draft systems as needed
- Assist bartenders during peak service periods by running supplies, clearing glassware, and maintaining workflow
- Wash and polish glassware and bar tools
- Remove trash and recycling and maintain proper sanitation standards
- Support inventory counts, deliveries, and storage rotation (FIFO)
- Follow food safety, liquor laws, and resort policies at all times
- Provide professional, courteous support to guests and teammates as needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties for the bar
