Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Physical ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs consistently and 70 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work event-based schedules including evenings and weekends
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Willingness to comply with union membership and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Demonstrates excellent guest service skills
- Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks quickly
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Requires constant standing and walking
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Job Duties
- Assist with opening and closing duties such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins
- Ensure bartenders have clean towels and glassware
- Deliver products and use transfer sheets to maintain inventory integrity
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain appearance of workstations and guest service areas
- Ensure bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer
- Check taps and appliances to ensure they are working properly and change out kegs
- Keep the bar clean by wiping surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash
- Maintain excellent guest service and positive demeanor towards guests, coworkers, and clients
- Adhere to safety policies including proper food safety and sanitation
- Ensure security of company assets
