Job Qualifications
- Previous bar back, bar, or restaurant experience preferred but not required
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- commitment to professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards
Job Duties
- Restock and replenish bar inventory including glassware, garnishes, mixers, and spirits throughout service
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including counters, shelves, sinks, and coolers
- assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, syrups, and other drink components before and during service
- collect and wash glassware promptly to ensure constant availability
- remove trash, recyclables, and empty kegs
- replace as needed
- support bartenders during high-volume periods by delivering drinks to servers and guests when necessary
- monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to bartenders or management
- follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local regulations and restaurant standards
- provide friendly, helpful interactions with guests when approached, maintaining our family-friendly atmosphere
