Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • standing for long periods
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to read and follow recipes accurately
  • effective communication and teamwork skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • able to read and follow recipes for juices and batch cocktails
  • properly use a knife and other kitchen equipment
  • maintain all necessary certifications

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and staff members professionally and positively
  • assist the bar staff in filling ice wells and stocking liquor bottles
  • ensure beer bottles, wine, and cordials are stocked
  • refill and date mixers, juices, and syrups
  • cut fruit and other garnishes and set up the bar
  • empty bus tubs and prebus the bar top
  • make batch cocktails according to recipes and understand the batch system
  • arrive on time and ready to work in proper uniform
  • use juicing machines safely and ensure bar pars are met
  • follow directions from management and bartenders
  • possess extensive knowledge of the menu to answer guest questions
  • obtain and update required certifications
  • set up and break down the bar area before and after shifts
  • clean floors, bar tops, and wells
  • empty trash cans and wash dishes using the bar machine
