Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a bar or hospitality setting preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and anticipate needs
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Ability to troubleshoot basic bar equipment issues
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience highly preferred
- A proactive and detailed demeanor
- Knowledge of bar operations and equipment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Eyes are always on the critical 6: ice, juice, syrups/mixers, spirits, glassware, bar top cleanliness
- Anticipate items to stock during shift - prior to running out
- Understand bar equipment and how to troubleshoot problems during shift (low CO2 in tap lines, dishwasher cycling, changing beer keys, etc.)
- Maintain bar cleanliness from all angles - the bar top where guests are seated, the bar back where spirits, glassware, supplies are located, waste bins, and floors
- Thorough knowledge of menu and beverage offerings and supporting knowledge of brand vision and standards of quality
