Job Requirements
- work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- work in environments with hot and cold temperatures including freezers and around cooking equipment
- work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distractions
- read and write handwritten notes
- lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- move about facility and stand for long periods
- walk or stand 100% of shift
- reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws
- be physically capable of performing essential job functions
- willingness to follow alcohol awareness and safety procedures
- be eligible to work legally in the United States
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- ability to follow instructions and company policies
- previous experience in a bar or food service setting is a plus but not required
- ability to work as part of a team
- basic math skills for portion control and inventory
- customer service orientation
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Duties
- assist bartenders by keeping bar areas clean and stocked
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience combining food, drinks, and games
- keep supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
- create a warm and fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- follow alcohol awareness procedures and report intoxicated guests
- ensure portion guidelines to control costs
- maintain guest satisfaction by checking back after food delivery and responding to guest needs
- work efficiently following the 'full hands in, full hands out' philosophy
- deliver food to tables and ensure guest needs are met
- adhere to company safety and sanitation policies
- stock bars with garnishes, glassware, straws, and napkins
- maintain beer pars and requisition sheets
- keep bar areas clean
- empty trash and spot sweep as needed
- restock and prepare supplies for shift changes or close
- perform opening and closing duties including party breakdowns
- assist in cleanliness and organization of bar storage areas
- assist in party setup of bars
- assist in bar inventories as requested
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- assist other team members as needed
- maintain a favorable and cooperative relationship with all company team members
