Job Requirements
- Be approachable and able to maintain a friendly demeanor even during busy times
- be available to work various shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends
- thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
- understand and communicate instructions and information effectively
- be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently around the bar area and stand for extended periods
- walk or stand for the entire duration of the shift
- frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain cleanliness and stock
- meet minimum age requirements for serving or handling alcohol as per local regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a barback or similar role is an advantage but not required
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- strong communication skills to relay information accurately
- ability to anticipate needs and work proactively

- ability to maintain focus and composure during busy times
Job Duties
- Play a crucial role in delivering top-notch drink service that complements food and games
- keep the bartender and supervisor informed about low stock, spills, or equipment issues and take action or suggest solutions
- restock bar supplies promptly, prepare garnishes, and ensure ice bins are full to minimize guest wait times
- maintain a positive and helpful attitude while assisting bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods
- assist with guest requests by relaying information to bartenders and ensuring the bar area is clean and organized
- retrieve ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items quickly and efficiently
- collect empty glasses and tidy the bar area throughout service
- alert bartenders or managers to any guest issues or concerns
- adhere to company policies regarding responsible alcohol service and safety
- stock and organize all bar-related supplies in designated storage areas
- assist with inventory counts of bar stock
- check and replenish bar supplies before, during, and after service and report shortages
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire bar area including counters, shelves, refrigerators, and storage
- assist other team members to ensure smooth overall operations
- maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- meet minimum age requirements for serving or handling alcohol
