Job Requirements
- be approachable and able to maintain a friendly demeanor even during busy times
- be available to work various shifts including days nights and/or weekends as needed
- thrive in a lively fast-paced environment with a moderate to high noise level
- be able to understand and communicate instructions and information effectively
- be able to lift and carry items such as cases of beverages ice bins and bus tubs weighing up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently around the bar area and stand for extended periods
- be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their shift
- frequently reach bend stoop lift and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar
- meet the minimum age requirement for serving or handling alcohol as per local regulations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a bar or fast-paced service environment is a plus but not required
- ability to work well in a team setting under high-energy conditions
- strong communication skills to interact effectively with bartenders and guests
- ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- basic knowledge of bar operations and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a busy environment
Job Duties
- play a crucial role in delivering top-notch drink service that complements our food and games contributing to an atmosphere of all-out fun for our guests
- keep the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about any low stock spills or equipment issues taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
- provide efficient support by promptly restocking bar supplies preparing garnishes and ensuring ice bins are full helping to minimize wait times for guests
- maintain a positive and helpful attitude while assisting the bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods
- assist with guest requests by relaying information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is clean and organized for a positive guest experience
- support the bartender by retrieving ingredients glassware and other necessary items quickly and efficiently
- ensure empty glasses are collected and the bar area is kept tidy throughout service
