Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- capable of standing or walking 100% of shift
- able to work in environments with hot and cold temperatures
- able to work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- ability to read and write handwritten notes
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is a plus
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- basic knowledge of alcohol awareness and safety protocols
- ability to follow instructions and company policies
- good physical endurance to stand and walk for long periods
- willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks, and games
- keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- follow portion guidelines to ensure cost control while maximizing guest experience
- ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after food delivery, maintaining nonalcoholic drink levels, removing clutter, and responding to guest needs
- work quickly and efficiently adhering to full hands in, full hands out philosophy
- deliver food to tables and ensure guests have everything they need
- adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- stock bars with garnishes, glassware, straws, and napkins
- maintain all bottle and keg beer pars during and after shift and maintain requisition sheets
- ensure bar areas remain clean
- empty trash and spot sweep when needed or requested
- restock and prepare supplies for shift change or close
- perform opening and closing responsibilities, including party breakdown duties
- assist in cleanliness and organization of all bar storage areas
- assist in party setup of bars
- assist in bar inventories as requested by management
- participate in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand
- assist other team members as needed or when business needs dictate
- maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate
