Job Requirements
- be approachable and maintain a friendly demeanor even during busy times
- be available to work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends
- thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
- understand and communicate instructions effectively
- be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently around the bar area and stand for extended periods
- walk or stand for the entire duration of the shift
- frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a bar or restaurant environment is an asset
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a team
- proactive and able to anticipate needs
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service policies is beneficial
- ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
Job Duties
- play a crucial role in delivering top-notch drink service that complements food and games
- keep the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about low stock, spills, or equipment issues
- provide efficient support by restocking bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and filling ice bins
- maintain a positive and helpful attitude while assisting bartenders
- assist with guest requests by relaying information to bartenders and keeping the bar area clean
- support bartenders by retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items
- ensure empty glasses are collected and the bar stays tidy throughout service
