Job Requirements

  • Be approachable and able to maintain a friendly demeanor even during busy times
  • be available to work various shifts, including days, nights, and/or weekends, as needed
  • thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with a moderate to high noise level
  • be able to understand and communicate instructions and information effectively
  • be able to lift and carry items such as cases of beverages, ice bins, and bus tubs, weighing up to 30 pounds
  • move efficiently around the bar area and stand for extended periods
  • be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their shift
  • frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment preferred
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • strong communication skills
  • excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
  • knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
  • ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • willingness to learn and follow instructions

Job Duties

  • Play a crucial role in delivering top-notch drink service that complements food and games, contributing to a fun atmosphere for guests
  • keep the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about any low stock, spills, or equipment issues, taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
  • provide efficient support by promptly restocking bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring ice bins are full, helping minimize wait times for guests
  • maintain a positive and helpful attitude while assisting bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods
  • assist with guest requests by relaying information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is clean and organized for a positive guest experience
  • support the bartender by retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items quickly and efficiently
  • ensure empty glasses are collected and the bar area is kept tidy throughout service
