Job Requirements
- Meet minimum age requirement for serving or handling alcohol as per local regulations
- be approachable and maintain a friendly demeanor during busy times
- be available to work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends
- thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
- understand and communicate instructions effectively
- be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently around the bar area and stand for extended periods
- be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of the shift
- frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces
- able to perform physical tasks required for maintaining cleanliness and stock
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is an asset
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy setting
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- strong work ethic and positive attitude
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service procedures is a plus
Job Duties
- Play a crucial role in delivering top-notch drink service that complements food and games
- keep the bartender and supervisor informed about low stock, spills, or equipment issues
- provide support by restocking bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring ice bins are full
- maintain a positive and helpful attitude while assisting bartenders
- assist with guest requests by relaying information to bartenders and keeping the bar area clean
- retrieve ingredients, glassware, and other items promptly
- collect empty glasses and tidy the bar area throughout service
- alert the bartender or manager to any guest issues or concerns observed
- adhere to company policies on responsible alcohol service and safety
- stock and organize all bar-related supplies in designated storage
- assist with inventory counts of bar stock as required
- check and replenish all necessary bar supplies before, during, and after service
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire bar area
- assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations
- maintain positive working relationships with all team members
