Job Requirements
- Be approachable and able to maintain a friendly demeanor even during busy times
- Be available to work various shifts, including days, nights, and/or weekends, as needed
- Thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with a moderate to high noise level
- Be able to understand and communicate instructions and information effectively
- Be able to lift and carry items such as cases of beverages, ice bins, and bus tubs, weighing up to 30 pounds
- Move efficiently around the bar area and stand for extended periods
- Be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their shift
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of responsible alcohol service and safety practices
- Must meet the minimum age requirement for serving or handling alcohol as per local regulations
Job Duties
- Play a crucial role in delivering top-notch drink service that complements our food and games, contributing to an atmosphere of all-out fun for our guests
- Keep the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about any low stock, spills, or equipment issues, taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
- Provide efficient support by promptly restocking bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring ice bins are full, helping to minimize wait times for guests
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while assisting the bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods
- Assist with guest requests by relaying information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is clean and organized for a positive guest experience
- Support the bartender by retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items quickly and efficiently
- Ensure empty glasses are collected and the bar area is kept tidy throughout service
