Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- able to work in environments with hot and cold temperatures such as freezers and around cooking equipment
- able to work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- able to read and write handwritten notes
- able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- able to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- able to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in barback or similar hospitality role preferred
- knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- basic understanding of alcohol awareness and responsible service
- ability to follow instructions and company policies
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks, and games
- keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and handle intoxicated guests
- follow portion guidelines to ensure cost control while maximizing guest experience
- check back after food delivery, maintain nonalcoholic drink levels, remove clutter, pre-buss as necessary, and respond to guest needs promptly
- work quickly and efficiently adhering to full hands in, full hands out philosophy
- deliver food to tables and ensure guests have everything they need
- adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- stock bars with garnishes, glassware, straws, and napkins
- maintain bottle and keg beer pars during and after shift and maintain requisition sheets
- ensure bar areas remain clean
- empty trash and spot sweep floors
- restock and prepare supplies for shift change or close
- perform opening and closing responsibilities including party breakdown duties
- assist in cleanliness and organization of all bar storage areas
- assist in party setup of bars
- assist in bar inventories as requested by management
- participate in all incentives and contests driving sales and promoting the brand
- assist other team members as needed or when business needs dictate
- maintain a favorable working relationship with other team members to promote cooperation and high morale
