Job Requirements
- be approachable and able to maintain a friendly demeanor even during busy times
- be available to work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends as needed
- thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
- be able to understand and communicate instructions and information effectively
- be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently around the bar area and stand for extended periods
- be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their shift
- frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred, previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting helpful, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to multitask effectively, knowledge of responsible alcohol service and safety policies, ability to maintain a positive attitude during busy times, must meet local minimum age requirement for handling alcohol
Job Duties
- play a crucial role in delivering top-notch drink service that complements food and games, keep bartender and immediate supervisor informed about low stock, spills, or equipment issues and take action or suggest solutions, provide efficient support by restocking bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring ice bins are full, maintain a positive and helpful attitude while assisting bartenders during busy periods, assist with guest requests by relaying information to bartenders and keeping the bar clean and organized, support the bartender by retrieving ingredients, glassware, and necessary items quickly, ensure empty glasses are collected and the bar area is tidy throughout service
