Job Requirements
- be approachable and able to maintain a friendly demeanor during busy times
- be available to work various shifts including days nights and/or weekends
- thrive in a lively fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise level
- be able to understand and communicate instructions and information effectively
- be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently around the bar area and stand for extended periods
- be able to walk or stand for entire duration of shift
- frequently reach bend stoop lift and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean well-stocked bar
Job Qualifications
- must meet minimum age requirement for serving or handling alcohol as per local regulations, able to understand and communicate instructions and information effectively, strong teamwork skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships, ability to work flexible shifts including days nights and weekends, experience in a similar fast-paced hospitality or bar environment preferred
Job Duties
- plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch drink service that complements food and games, keeps the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about low stock spills or equipment issues, provides efficient support by promptly restocking bar supplies and preparing garnishes, maintains a positive and helpful attitude while assisting bartenders, assists with guest requests by relaying information to the bartender and maintaining bar area cleanliness, supports the bartender by retrieving ingredients glassware and other necessary items quickly, ensures empty glasses are collected and bar area is tidy throughout service
