Job Requirements
- Meet minimum age requirement for serving or handling alcohol as per local regulations
- Be approachable and maintain a friendly demeanor during busy times
- Work various shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends as needed
- Thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Understand and communicate instructions effectively
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Move efficiently around the bar area and stand for extended periods
- Walk or stand for the entire duration of the shift
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- Knowledge of bar tools and drink preparation helpful
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle fast-paced, high-energy environments
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to follow company policies and alcohol service regulations
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods
Job Duties
- Play a crucial role in delivering top-notch drink service that complements the entertainment environment
- Keep the bartender and supervisor informed about low stock, spills, or equipment issues while taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
- Provide efficient support by restocking supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring ice bins are full
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while anticipating bartender needs during busy periods
- Assist with guest requests by relaying information and ensuring the bar area is clean and organized
- Support the bartender by retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items quickly
- Collect empty glasses and keep the bar area tidy throughout service
- Alert the bartender or manager to any guest issues or concerns
- Adhere to all company policies regarding responsible alcohol service and safety
- Stock and organize all bar-related supplies including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and garnishes
- Assist with inventory counts of bar stock as required
- Check and replenish all necessary bar supplies before, during, and after service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire bar area including counters, shelves, refrigerators, and storage spaces
- Assist other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Meet minimum age requirements for handling alcohol according to local laws
