Job Qualifications
- You must be a minimum of 21 years of age in order to serve alcoholic beverages
- You have in-depth knowledge of alcohol and craft cocktail bars and possess strong mixology skills
- You can be on your feet for up to eight hours
- You can communicate effectively with guests and other associates
- You must be able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
- Being able to stand, sit, walk, lift, and squat for extended durations is a requirement
Job Duties
- The main focus of this position is to cultivate a warm and inviting ambiance by promptly acknowledging and serving customers, as well as recommending suitable drinks based on their preferences
- The Bar Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that all food and beverage protocols are followed, including verifying the legal drinking age of patrons
- Additional tasks encompass handling monetary transactions, monitoring bar inventory, and efficiently overseeing daily bar procedures
- Offer a timely greeting to customers as they enter the establishment
- Make arrangements for a significant supply of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain constructive communication with patrons, receive their requests, and provide a selection of snacks and drinks
- Understand the needs and preferences of customers to provide well-informed advice
- Confirm that customers' identification aligns with the legal age limit for purchasing alcohol
- Follow all regulations related to food and beverage consumption
- Utilize cash registers to conduct sales transactions, receive payments from patrons, and dispense correct amounts of change during transactions
- Supervise the bar operations, which encompasses the management of liquor inventory and bar essentials
