Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending or bar attendant experience preferred
- knowledge of alcohol service laws and regulations
- certification or willingness to obtain alcohol service certification
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for long periods
- capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- commitment to responsible alcohol service
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience working as a bartender
- understanding of bartending fundamentals, cocktail formulas, and contemporary industry trends
- eligible to acquire all necessary Aramark and local/state-mandated alcohol service certifications
- exceptional hospitality skills with strong knowledge of beverages
- proficient organizational abilities
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision
- physically capable of handling, moving, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 25 lbs
- ability to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Welcome visitors, receive requests, and facilitate monetary transactions through cash or credit card payments
- prepare and offer a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to attendees
- serve beverages to servers directly from the service well if necessary
- follow all established protocols for serving alcohol and promoting responsible drinking behavior
- verify the age of customers to ensure they are legally allowed to consume alcohol
- adhere to guidelines and protocols for managing cash transactions
- establish and dismantle workstations including thorough cleaning and sanitization
- perform stock assessments and maintain optimal inventory levels
- deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating and meeting the needs of guests
- keep a friendly attitude when interacting with guests, customers, and colleagues
- protect the safety of company resources
