Job Requirements
- be able to maintain a friendly and courteous manner even during peak hours
- be available to work flexible shifts including days evenings and weekends
- thrive in a lively fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise level
- be able to understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
- be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- be able to stand or walk for the entire duration of scheduled shifts
- frequently reach bend stoop lift and wipe surfaces to maintain a clean and stocked bar
- meet minimum legal age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is an advantage
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting
- familiarity with responsible alcohol service practices
- good organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Duties
- play a key part in delivering excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment, keep bartender and supervisor informed about low stock levels spills or equipment malfunctions, provide efficient assistance by replenishing bar supplies preparing garnishes and maintaining ice levels, maintain a positive and helpful attitude while supporting bartenders and anticipating their needs, assist with guest inquiries by relaying information and ensuring the bar area is clean and organized, support bartenders by retrieving ingredients glassware and other items, collect empty glassware and keep the bar area tidy throughout service, inform bartender or manager of any guest issues or concerns, adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding responsible alcohol service and safety regulations, stock and organize all bar-related supplies in designated storage locations, assist with periodic inventory counts, check and replenish bar supplies before during and after service, maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire bar area, provide assistance to other team members as needed, maintain positive working relationships with team members, meet minimum legal age requirement for serving or handling alcoholic beverages
