Job Requirements
- be approachable and able to maintain a friendly and courteous manner even during peak hours
- be available to work flexible shifts including days evenings and or weekends as required
- thrive in a lively fast-paced environment with a moderate to high noise level
- be able to understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
- be able to lift and carry items such as beverage cases ice containers and bus tubs weighing up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently within the bar area and stand for extended periods of time
- be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their scheduled shift
- frequently reach bend stoop lift and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in bar or restaurant support role is an advantage but not required
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
- basic knowledge of bar safety and hygiene practices
- ability to follow instructions accurately
- friendly and approachable demeanor
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- play a key part in delivering excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment, keep the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions taking immediate action or suggesting solutions, provide efficient assistance by promptly replenishing bar supplies preparing garnishes and ensuring ice levels are maintained, maintain a positive and helpful attitude while supporting bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods, assist with guest inquiries by relaying information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is clean and well-organized, support the bartender by quickly and efficiently retrieving ingredients glassware and other necessary items, ensure that empty glassware is collected and the bar area remains tidy throughout service, inform the bartender or manager of any guest issues or concerns observed at the bar, adhere to company policies and procedures regarding responsible alcohol service and safety regulations, stock and organize all bar-related supplies including liquor beer wine mixers glassware and garnishes in designated storage locations, assist with periodic inventory counts of bar stock as needed, check and replenish all necessary bar supplies before during and after service and report any shortages to the manager, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entire bar area including counters shelves refrigerators and storage areas, provide assistance to other team members as needed to ensure efficient overall operations, maintain positive working relationships with all team members to foster a supportive and productive environment, meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving or handling alcoholic beverages as per local regulations
