Job Requirements
- meet minimum legal age requirement for serving or handling alcoholic beverages as per local regulations
- be approachable and maintain friendly, courteous manner even during peak hours
- be available to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
- thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise level
- understand and effectively communicate instructions
- able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently within bar area and stand for extended periods
- walk or stand for the entire duration of scheduled shift
- frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain cleanliness and stock
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service policies
- ability to handle physical demands such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 pounds
- good organizational skills
- positive attitude and adaptability
Job Duties
- plays a key part in delivering excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment, contributing to a fun and exciting atmosphere for guests
- keeps the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions, taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
- provides efficient assistance by replenishing bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining ice levels
- maintains a positive and helpful attitude while supporting bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods
- assists with guest inquiries by relaying information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is clean and well-organized
- supports the bartender by retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items
- ensures empty glassware is collected and the bar area remains tidy
- informs bartender or manager of any guest issues or concerns observed at the bar
- adheres to company policies regarding responsible alcohol service and safety regulations
- stocks and organizes all bar-related supplies including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and garnishes
- assists with periodic inventory counts of bar stock
- checks and replenishes all necessary bar supplies before, during, and after service
- maintains cleanliness and organization of the bar area including counters, shelves, refrigerators, and storage areas
- provides assistance to other team members as needed
- maintains positive working relationships with all team members
