Job Requirements
- must be of minimum legal age to serve or handle alcoholic beverages as per local regulations
- ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
- physical capacity to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of the scheduled shift
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe surfaces frequently
- approachable and able to maintain a friendly and courteous manner even during peak hours
- ability to understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a hospitality or bar environment preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- knowledge of basic bar operations and beverage preparation is an asset
- ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude during busy periods
Job Duties
- plays a key part in delivering excellent drink service that complements our food and entertainment, contributing to a fun and exciting atmosphere for our guests
- keeps the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about any low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions, taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
- provides efficient assistance by promptly replenishing bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring ice levels are maintained, helping to minimize guest wait times
- maintains a positive and helpful attitude while supporting the bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods
- assists with guest inquiries by relaying information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is clean and well-organized for a positive guest experience
- supports the bartender by quickly and efficiently retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items
- ensures that empty glassware is collected and the bar area remains tidy throughout service
