Job Requirements

  • Must be at least the minimum legal age to serve or handle alcoholic beverages
  • able to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physically able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • able to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • able to perform frequent reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, and wiping down surfaces
  • approachable with friendly and courteous manner
  • able to thrive in a lively and noisy environment
  • able to understand and communicate instructions effectively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is advantageous but not required
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
  • basic inventory management skills

Job Duties

  • Play a key part in delivering excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment
  • keep the bartender and supervisor informed about low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions
  • provide efficient assistance by replenishing bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining ice levels
  • maintain a positive and helpful attitude while supporting bartenders
  • assist with guest inquiries by relaying information and ensuring bar cleanliness
  • retrieve ingredients, glassware, and other items as needed
  • collect empty glassware and keep bar area tidy
  • inform bartender or manager of guest issues or concerns
  • adhere to company policies and responsible alcohol service regulations
  • stock and organize bar-related supplies including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and garnishes
  • assist with periodic inventory counts
  • check and replenish bar supplies before, during, and after service
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of bar counters, shelves, refrigerators, and storage
  • provide assistance to other team members as needed
  • maintain positive working relationships with team members
