Job Requirements
- Be approachable and maintain a friendly courteous manner even during peak hours
- Be available to work flexible shifts including days evenings and weekends
- Thrive in a lively fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise level
- Understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Move efficiently within the bar area and stand for extended periods
- Walk or stand for the entire duration of scheduled shift
- Frequently reach bend stoop lift and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean bar
Job Qualifications
- Minimum legal age to serve or handle alcoholic beverages as per local regulations
- Prior experience in a bar support role preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with team members
Job Duties
- Play a key part in delivering excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment contributing to a fun and exciting atmosphere for guests
- Keep the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about low stock levels spills or equipment malfunctions taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
- Provide efficient assistance by promptly replenishing bar supplies preparing garnishes and ensuring ice levels are maintained minimizing guest wait times
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while supporting the bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods
- Assist with guest inquiries by relaying information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is clean and well-organized
- Support the bartender by quickly retrieving ingredients glassware and other necessary items
- Collect empty glassware and keep the bar area tidy throughout service
