Job Requirements
- meet minimum legal age requirement for serving or handling alcoholic beverages
- be approachable and maintain a friendly and courteous manner even during peak hours
- be available to work flexible shifts including days evenings and or weekends
- thrive in a lively fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise level
- understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
- ability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently within the bar area and stand for extended periods
- walk or stand for entire duration of scheduled shift
- frequently reach bend stoop lift and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a bar or hospitality environment preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
- strong organizational skills
- basic knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- plays a key part in delivering excellent drink service that complements our food and entertainment contributing to a fun and exciting atmosphere for our guests
- keeps the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about any low stock levels spills or equipment malfunctions taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
- provides efficient assistance by promptly replenishing bar supplies preparing garnishes and ensuring ice levels are maintained helping to minimize guest wait times
- maintains a positive and helpful attitude while supporting the bartenders and anticipating their needs during busy periods
- assists with guest inquiries by relaying information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is clean and well-organized for a positive guest experience
- supports the bartender by quickly and efficiently retrieving ingredients glassware and other necessary items
- ensures that empty glassware is collected and the bar area remains tidy throughout service
