Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
  • OR two-year degree from accredited university in relevant field
  • Two years related experience
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of beverage laws and controls
  • Ability to manage budgets and inventories
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and feedback
  • Experience with event coordination and marketing

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with four years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related field
  • OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with two years relevant experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience managing bar/lounge operations
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal liquor laws
  • Ability to develop and execute marketing and PR strategies
  • Proficiency in inventory control and budget management
  • Customer service excellence and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Creates unique guest experiences that attract hotel and non-hotel guests
  • Maximizes financial performance by understanding the local market and positioning the outlet
  • Promotes the bar/lounge through marketing, social media, and public relations
  • Plans and develops menus and promotions
  • Manages daily bar/lounge operations and liquor inventory
  • Ensures compliance with liquor laws and company policies
  • Trains, supervises, and supports bar/lounge staff
  • Coordinates and executes event setups and entertainment
  • Fosters guest satisfaction by responding to feedback and complaints
  • Manages departmental budgets and participates in financial reporting
  • Oversees hiring, training, and performance management of staff
