Job Requirements

  • Be 21 years of age
  • minimum of one year of bartending experience
  • high school diploma preferred
  • verbal and written English language proficiency
  • basic mathematical skills
  • food handler or liquor permits as required by law
  • brand certification as required
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • physical ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 60 pounds
  • ability to operate point of sale system
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in confined spaces

Job Duties

  • Take beverage orders from guests and servers
  • greet take-out register guests and take food orders
  • prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes
  • input orders into register and create guest checks
  • operate cash register and handle payments
  • wash and sterilize glassware
  • prepare garnishes and replenish bar snacks
  • maintain stock and storage of fresh garnishes and perishables
  • follow food handling procedures including wrapping and labeling
  • adhere to liquor regulations regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests
  • clear and reset tables in bar area
  • follow guest program service steps including menu presentation and recommendations
  • maintain cleanliness in bar areas
  • report equipment problems and maintenance issues
  • restock and replenish bar inventory
  • receive inventory and move food and beverage products
  • fill in as needed for smooth restaurant operation
