Job Requirements

  • ability to stand, bend, reach and be mobile for up to 4 hours
  • ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • ability to operate a commercial espresso machine
  • food handlers license and serv-safe certification are a plus

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience supervising a cafe or quick service operation
  • experience and knowledge in coffee and coffee production
  • excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • proficiency in microsoft office

Job Duties

  • oversees daily operations to meet standards for guest service, employee practices, financial performance, operational efficiency, and health and safety
  • engages with caffe employees in a hands-on capacity to foster teamwork and operational excellence
  • motivates, inspires, and develops team through setting clear expectations and leading by example
  • fulfills guest needs by actively taking a role in service operations such as barista, cashier, gelato, dining area maintenance
  • ensures adherence to food safety and quality standards, upholding all department of health and company regulations
  • collaborates with director of operations to develop, implement and monitor standard operating procedures
  • manages labor, costs, inventory, regulatory compliance, pricing, and merchandising to optimize operational performance
