Job Requirements
- ability to stand, bend, reach and be mobile for up to 4 hours
- ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- ability to operate a commercial espresso machine
- food handlers license and serv-safe certification are a plus
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience supervising a cafe or quick service operation
- experience and knowledge in coffee and coffee production
- excellent communication and team leadership skills
- outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- proficiency in microsoft office
Job Duties
- oversees daily operations to meet standards for guest service, employee practices, financial performance, operational efficiency, and health and safety
- engages with caffe employees in a hands-on capacity to foster teamwork and operational excellence
- motivates, inspires, and develops team through setting clear expectations and leading by example
- fulfills guest needs by actively taking a role in service operations such as barista, cashier, gelato, dining area maintenance
- ensures adherence to food safety and quality standards, upholding all department of health and company regulations
- collaborates with director of operations to develop, implement and monitor standard operating procedures
- manages labor, costs, inventory, regulatory compliance, pricing, and merchandising to optimize operational performance
