Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in similar position preferably in luxury environment
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays
- Ability to be flexible with job demands and open-minded
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to run the Bar
- Ability to operate with grace under pressure
- Ability to move or handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates
- Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours per day
- In-depth knowledge of wine and beverages
- Ability to relate to all levels of guests and management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to handle guest requests in detailed manner

Job Duties
- Support company philosophy and culture to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain and update beverage offerings at the Bar and Lounge
- Provide leadership and support for bartenders and servers
- Train, evaluate, and schedule bartenders and servers
- Perform administrative duties including scheduling, payroll, inventory, and ordering
- Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of the Bar
- Manage proper staffing and supplies levels
- Conduct constant training and development of colleagues
- Chair monthly departmental meetings
- Conduct daily pre-shift communications
- Ensure Bar service standards
- Visit guest tables to ensure satisfaction
- Manage, coach, and counsel colleagues including disciplinary actions
- Liaise with guest relations and front office to communicate group information
- Coordinate all aspects of service including food and beverage requirements, event timing, special guest attention, table setup, special requests, billing instructions, and décor requirements
- Report suspicious activities and unsafe conditions
- Follow laws and guidelines for beverage service
- Provide emergency safety instructions
- Maintain knowledge of Reservation System and POS
- Ensure accuracy and presentation of menus
- Assist with check reconciliation
- Develop budgets, pace reports, monthly forecasts
- Monitor departmental payroll and approve personnel actions
- Attend food and beverage meetings
- Update menus and revise departmental standards and procedures as needed
