Job Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of banquet and/or setup experience in a supervisory capacity
- Prior experience as a server captain and setup houseperson is required
- Have a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort are helpful
- Must be able to read write and fluently speak English
- Bilingual skills are helpful

Job Duties
- Ensure proper setup and functionality of meeting rooms including breaks audio/visual and other equipment per banquet event order (BEO)
- Direct and ensure the proper setup handling usage and storage of all banquet equipment and supplies
- Supervise the work of staff by delegating assignments and checking the quality of completed work
- Greet and maintain warm hospitable guest relations in all guest contact
- Ensure cleanup and reset of banquet event spaces following each function
- Train and support associates to uphold company standards and safety procedures
- Coordinate with event and management teams to meet event requirements
