Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds (10 kilograms)
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • Maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform
  • Complete safety training and certification prior to employment
  • Open availability to meet scheduling needs
  • Strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent completion of a General Educational Development (GED) program
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience considered an advantage
  • Previous banquet service experience considered a strong plus
  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality
  • Good conversational skills and a team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Prepare coffee breaks and stock carts and stations with needed items
  • Organize tables, action stations, buffets, and service carts
  • Communicate special requests or additional food requirements to the kitchen
  • Ensure timely removal of plates and crumbs
  • Control dish presentation to ensure guest accessibility
  • Supervise cleaning and proper sanitization of tables, stations, and service areas
  • Assist in maintaining a synchronized team effort to deliver flawless events
