Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 2 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations and staff
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to manage budget and operations effectively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of culinary or food service experience
  • OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing kitchen operations and budgeting
  • Ability to train, coach, and mentor culinary staff

Job Duties

  • Lead, influence, and encourage culinary team members using strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Manage daily kitchen operations and supervise all kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook food items personally while leading shifts
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and handling standards
  • Develop and implement culinary innovations and high-quality food presentations
  • Maintain purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards
  • Manage payroll, scheduling, and participate in employee performance evaluations
