Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in event management within a luxury or full-service hotel environment
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in relevant event management software
- Availability for flexible working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in event management, preferably within a luxury or full-service hotel environment
- Proven leadership experience with strong team management capabilities
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing abilities
- Proficiency in event management software such as Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering, Social Tables
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Act as the primary liaison for key clients from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up
- Conduct site tours, develop customized proposals, and lead contract negotiations in alignment with hotel standards
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with repeat and VIP clients to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Lead all phases of event planning, including budgeting, timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site execution
- Coordinate cross-departmentally with teams such as Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Office, and AV to ensure smooth event delivery
- Supervise event setup and breakdown, ensuring alignment with brand standards and client expectations
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior event coordinators and support staff
